Manchester 10K Run
Eleven members of staff made it round the Manchester 10 kilometer course in
fantastic time on Sunday 17th May. Along with 33,000 other runners they
pounded the streets of Manchester in aid of multiple sclerosis

Our second hand uniform shop is very successful but we need more donations of good quality uniform please.
Lost Property
All lost property is now stored in the Uniform Room in the Science and Admin Building . Please. Please. Please. make sure all uniform is clearly named so that if found it can be returned to its rightful owner .
All un-named property will be displayed once a term .Announcements of dates and times will be placed in the pupil bulletin. Any unclaimed property will then be disposed of.

OFSTED SURVEY INSPECTION - PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Hartford High School is celebrating its recent OFSTED Survey Inspection for Physical Education and the Every Child Matters agenda. The PE Department was judged outstanding in its overall effectiveness.
The school was awarded combined specialism in Languages and Sport from September 2006 and both departments have been working very hard to raise standards in both subjects both within school and the wider community.

BBC News School report
This is an exciting time for us at Hartford High School. From 26th March 2009, our students will take part in the BBC News School report.
Integral to our philosophy at Hartford High is our House System.
Two tutor groups from every year group belong to each of the four Houses.
Each house has its own dedicated Head of House who maintains an overview of all pastoral and academic matters regarding their house.
