Joining from another Year Group

For enquiries about admissions to other Year Groups, parents should contact the school office who will advise accordingly and co-ordinate meetings with a senior member of staff. The purpose of the meeting is for families to see the school in action and learn about the school and its expectations. It is also an opportunity to gather information about student's previous educational experiences and to answer queries. Prior to a meeting, the admissions officer will send a copy of the school prospectus, an induction booklet and an application form to families.

As part of the induction process, new students meet with one of our Pastoral Managers who will introduce them to their Head of House and Tutor and make arrangements for their first days and weeks at Hartford. The Pastoral Manager
will also liaise with parents and carers during the initial settling in period.

As of September 2010 all admissions that take place during the school year will be co-ordinated by the Local Authority.
